Interpretation
The words of which the initial letter is capitalizing have meanings
defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall
have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or

means a unique account created for You to access our Services or parts
of our Service.
Affiliate
means an entity that controls, is controlled by or is under common
control with a party, where "control" means ownership of 50% or more of
the shares, equity interest or other securities entitled to vote for

Application
means the software program provided by the Company downloaded by You on
any electronic device, named IOU Notes.

the Company as the legal entity that collects Consumers personal

is collected and that alone, or jointly with others, determines the

(referred to as either the Company, We, Us or Our in this
Agreement) refers to IOU Notes, LLC.

for the purpose of the CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act), means a
natural person who is a California resident. A resident, as defined in
the law, includes (1) every individual who is in the USA for other than
a temporary or transitory purpose, and (2) every individual who is
domiciled in the USA who is outside the USA for a temporary or

are small files that are placed on Your computer, mobile device or any
other device by a website, containing the details of Your browsing
history on that website among its many uses.

refers to: Florida, United States
Device
means any device that can access the Service such as a computer, a cell
phone or a digital tablet.

(DNT) is a concept that has been promoted by US regulatory authorities,
in particular the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC), for the Internet
industry to develop and implement a mechanism for allowing internet
users to control the tracking of their online activities across

Use of Your Personal Data within IOU Notes Platform
To process
users to user transactions with others on the IOU Notes Platform, we
need to share some of your personal information with the person or
company that you are requesting/offering credit/payment or loans to.
Your contact information, IOU Credit Report and Details, number of
transactions, etc. and other information is provided to other users that
you transact with on the IOU Notes Platform. Likewise, those other
user's parts of their information is provided to you as needed to
provide the service.
We will
not disclose your bank account numbers to anyone you have paid/loan or
who has paid/loaned you through IOU Notes, except with your express
permission or if we are required to do so to comply with a subpoena or
other legal process.
Retention of Your Personal Data
The
Company will retain Your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary
for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use
Your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal
obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to
comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal
agreements and policies.
The
Company will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes.
Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except
when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the
functionality of Our Service, or We are legally obligated to retain this
